  • Nursing Trauma Informed Care Training and Capacity Building:  The Department of Public Health, Section of Public Health Nursing (SOPHN) is looking for a vendor(s) to implement a training intended to develop an internal process for assessing and improving the capacity of Public Health Nursing health centers to rely on a trauma informed approach to care.
  • Alaska Psychiatric Institute Privatization Feasibility Study:DHSS, Alaska Psychiatric Institute (API), is soliciting proposals for a study of the feasibility of privatizing API. The services of this contract will provide an analysis of the impact of various models of operation, including remaining solely state-operated, and one, or more, models of privatized operation. This solicitation replaces a previous solicitation, RFP 200000010.
  • Opportunity for Healthcare Practitioner Loan Repayment for State Fiscal Year 2019: The clinician application form and the employer application form for this solicitation will be available starting Monday, April 1, 2019.  Once this SHARP-1 application opportunity opens on April 1 the program intends to keep the application opportunity open because SHARP is implementing a new “rolling admissions” process.  On April 1 and thereafter, all instructions regarding how to receive and complete the SHARP application will be web-posted. Thereafter, Alaska’s SHARP Council will periodically meet in publicly noticed meetings to review and select from the pool of eligible applicants.
